Hollywood Cemetery is the resting place of three presidents -- US Presidents James Monroe and John Tyler, and Confederate President Jefferson Davis. Designed in 1847 and opened in 1849, Hollywood Cemetery sits on a rolling, verdant bluff overlooking the James River. Its foliage and monuments make it one of America's most beautiful garden cemeteries.
